It’s hard to pick a favorite season in this beautiful city, but if I had to pick, I might have to give the award to fall. I’m a sucker for changing leaves, fall wardrobes, and cooler temperatures. Basically, I love everything about fall except for the pumpkin spice obsession. Dear God, make it stop.
Anyways, here are some of the many reasons London in the fall is pure magic. It is also every influencer/instagrammer’s dream.
The Parks
There are so many of them around the city and they all become even better than usual when their leaves start to change.

Those Mews
Good luck catching these without quite a few instagrammers hanging around. Patience (or going when some of the leaves have already gone) is key.

Pumpkins Everywhere
This city knows how to decorate, and in the fall, pumpkins are king.

Poppies
In November, parts of the city, and many people’s lapels are covered in poppies, and I have to admit, I love it. This year the poppies made their appearance at the Imperial War museum, and it was a beaut.

I Just love seasonal decorations, okay?!

A+ Restaurant Decor
So cute, I can’t even. There are so many other restaurants with amazing fall decor, but these are my favorites.

Halloween Decorations
Halloween decorating is no joke around here. Especially in Notting Hill, I hope they bring their A game like this for Christmas too. That Harry Potter house though… 10 points for Gryffindor!
Actual Magic
Okay, this doesn’t happen every fall, but this year, giant Harry Potter wands appeared by St. Pauls, and the magic was real.
Thames Views
I’ve always loved walking along the Thames, but it’s even better when all the leaves have changed. Chelsea Embankment for the win.

The Whole City
Yep, all of it. Everything looks better with fall foliage. That’s a fact. Especially the iconic red phone booths. Visit London in the fall, you won’t regret it.
Now that we have taken the time to fully appreciate fall, we can celebrate the fact that CHRISTMAS IN LONDON is coming (who am I kidding, it’s been here for about a month already). Get the mulled wine and faux fur out, people. This is not a drill, the other best time of year is upon us.
